Step By Step Cleaning Kangen Water Machine by Yourself Using E-Cleaning Prochedure
Cleaning your Kangen Water machine is essentials to keep your machine in a good shape so it will always produce drinking water with high antioxidant and proper pH level. This cleaning prochedure is suggested to be done once every two weeks. The cleaning prochedure itself is very easy and everybody can do it. Here's the step by step tutorials on how to do it.
1. First make sure you turn of the water faucet and unplug Kangen Water machine power cords.
2. Prepare CPU (Cleaning Powder Unit) and 1 sachet of cleaning powder. Unscrew the CPU (Cleaning Powder Unit) and then fill with cleaning powder, then close the cap.
3. Now we want to remove Kangen Water filter and change it with the CPU. First open the black cover on the left side of the machine then you will see Kangen Water filter. Rotate the filter holder to unlock it then take it out so you can also take out Kangen Water filter and change it with CPU.
4. Make sure you see two O rings (black rings) at the bottom of CPU before placing it at the filter place. Lock the position using the filter holder (if you lock it tightly, you will hear the "click" sound when the filter holder locked the CPU properly).
5. Turn on the water faucet so the water will running through upper and bottom pipes for approximately about 10 seconds and then turn off the faucets. (This step will make the cleaning powder inside the CPU turns into liquid).
6. Prepare a glass and then put upper and bottom pipe into the glass. Turn on the water faucet again so the water will half filling the glass and make the tip of upper and bottom pipes submerged in the water. Turn off the water faucet and leave this about 3 to 5 hours.
7. After the time elapsed, remove the glass then open the water faucet to allow the water running through upper and bottom pipe for about 5 minutes, then turn off the water faucet. The machine now has been rinsed from all left over cleaning powder liquids during the cleaning process.
8. Now we want to place the filter back to its place. Remove the CPU and then swap it with the filter. Make sure whenever you pull out either CPU or filter from the machine, the two black O rings always attached at the bottom of that CPU or Filter. After you place the filter back to its original place, lock it properly using the filter holder (until you hear the "click" sound).
9. Turn on the faucet and let the water run for about 3-5 minutes and then its done. You can put the black filter cover to its place. The cleaning prochedure has been completed. You can plug the cable cords again and you Kangen Water machine can be used as usual.
10. Last note:
a) Notice that your CPU is still wet, don't store the CPU in wet conditions to prevent it from getting moldy. Leave the CPU cap opened to let it dry in the open air for about 3 days before you store it back. CPU suggested to be changed with a new one for every 2-3 years.
